Community Outreach Coordinators: Community Outreach Coordinators will promote the mission of PTSD United in their community. Coordinators are expected to engage in various outreach activities and community education. Possibilities include: organizing social support meet-ups, tabling at events, neighborhood awareness campaigns, school based programs, assist with special events, and educate the community about PTSD United’s resources, services, and volunteer program.

Fundraising Coordinator: PTSD United’s Fundraising Coordinator will assist with fundraising, donor stewardship and event planning activities. The goal of the position is to assist in successful fundraising operations for PTSD United’s mission in order to ensure support for anyone dealing with post-traumatic stress. This position requires someone who has excellent communication skills, is self-motivated, and organized.

Grant Writer: PTSD United’s Grant Writer is responsible for developing and writing grant proposals to grant-making organizations and will persuasively communicate PTSD United’s mission and programs to potential funders. The Grant Writer will assemble and submit grant requests, establish and maintain personal contact and relationships with granter contacts, conduct prospect research, and maintain a calendar of submissions and other deadlines. This position requires someone who has excellent research, writing, and communication skills, reliable, organized, thorough and timely.

Social Media/Content Creation Coordinator: PTSD United is looking for a Social Media Marketing Specialist to post relevant messages and digital content on our social media channels. The coordinator will also prepare monthly reports to measure the effectiveness of PTSD United’s social media marketing efforts. This is a key position that helps raise awareness of PTSD United and increases the number of followers and fans on each of the social media sites. This position requires someone who has knowledge and is an active user of social media (Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Google+, Instagram, etc) and has experience posting, developing and measuring social media insights and analytics.

huddl.org Greeter: huddl.org greeters will welcome new members to huddl.org and spend at least an hour on the site each week. The goal of greeters is create a warm and welcoming environment for anyone new to the site and to encourage and interact with all current members. Greeters will be responsible to offering support and words of encouragement to all members on huddl.org.
