Josh Rizzo

Chairman of the Board & Executive Director

Josh Rizzo

Josh Rizzo serves as the Executive Director for PTSD United, as well as serving on the Board of Directors. The Executive Director reports to the Board of Directors, and is responsible for the organization’s consistent achievement of its mission and financial objectives.

Josh Rizzo is currently a National Account Manager at Knaack LLC (recently sold by Emerson Electric Co. to Werner Co.) where he is responsible for managing all facets of major national accounts, creating new accounts, leading efforts from all core internal departments, and supervising 15 regional sales agencies for a large, privately held industrial and construction supply company.

Previously, Josh worked as a Global Director of Business Development for Comark Building Systems (The Carlyle Group), where he was responsible for all business development activities nationally and internationally, leading all strategic planning, relationships, sales, and revenue for a $200 million dollar design-build construction firm.

Josh also served as a military officer in the United States Army from 2002 to 2007, achieving the rank of Captain, deploying to Iraq as a company commander in 2005 and 2006, where he was awarded the Bronze Star Medal.

Josh graduated from the United States Military Academy at West Point in 2002 where he lettered on the varsity baseball team four years, served as team Captain in 2001-2002, and was the recipient of the Doubleday Society Award for Leadership (An award given on an honorary basis).

Josh has volunteered over the last two years and continues to serve as the leader of a mentorship program at a non-profit organization in the Los Angeles area, “Reaching Youth Through Music Opportunities” (RYTMO), which provides an after school curriculum for underprivileged youth. From his time spent in the military, Josh continues to deal with PTSD on a daily basis and is committed to bringing resources to those struggling with any form of PTSD.  Josh currently resides in Southern California, where he enjoys writing, creating music, and spending time with friends.

Dr. Stanton Hom

Dr. Stanton Hom is a graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point. Stan served overseas in Iraq in 2003 and 2004. He went on to graduate and receive his Doctor of Chiropractic degree at the Southern California University of Health Sciences (Los Angeles College of Chiropractic) in 2010. Since receiving his DC, Stan has continually been recognized by his peers as an expert in state of the art wellness care.

Stan is the former (2012), immediate past Chairman of the Board at the World Congress of Chiropractic Students (WCCS). He has traveled around the world to speak to chiropractic students and organizations and brings a wealth of global experience to his practice every day.

Patrick Murphy

Patrick Murphy

Patrick Murphy is currently a Partner in the Philadelphia office at Fox Rothschild LLP after serving two-terms in the U.S. House of Representatives. Patrick, a former congressman and decorated Iraq War veteran, passed pragmatic legislation in the energy, healthcare, and education fields.

A dynamic leader and MSNBC contributor, Patrick advises a broad range of clients on legislative, regulatory, public policy and advocacy matters. Additionally, Patrick serves as a Senior Fellow at the Center for American Progress. Prior to joining Fox, Patrick represented over 700,000 constituents from Pennsylvania’s Eighth Congressional District in the U.S. House of Representatives for two terms. He served on the Appropriations, Intelligence, and Armed Services committees and championed equality by authoring the bill repealing the “Don’t Ask Don’t Tell” policy, coauthored the 21st Century GI Bill and Hire Our Heroes legislation for his fellow veterans, and authored a U.S. Patent and Trademark Bill addressing the patent application backlog.

Immediately following 9/11, Patrick served two overseas deployments – Tuzla, Bosnia in 2002 and Baghdad, Iraq in 2003-04, where he earned the Bronze Star for Service.

Dr. ErinKate Stair

Dr. ErinKate Stair (Dr. Eeks) is a West Point graduate, medical doctor, and current NYU student working toward her Masters of Public Health in Global Health Leadership. She works as a holistic wellness coach and consultant, and is the founder of www.bloomingwellness.com.

ErinKate serves as the chief editor for The Alternative Mental Health News, a newsletter for the worlds largest not-for-profit that is dedicated to informing people about alternatives to psychiatric medication and holistic ways of healing. Additionally, ErinKate is a certified NIA instructor, laughter yoga leader, and works with the Thayer Leadership Development Group at West Point.

Abagail

Abagail d’Autremont

Abby’s experience is primarily focused in project management, operations, and sales and marketing.  She is currently in the Advisory practice of PricewaterhouseCoopers, LLP aligned to Health Industries and based in Los Angeles, CA serving a wide range of clientele across the country.

Prior to joining PwC, Abby managed a clientele of 100+ physicians throughout the Southern California area from 2007 to 2011 for Myriad Genetics as a genetic specialist in the oncology field.  During this same period, she also attended the University of Southern California, earning an MBA in Strategy and Operations (2009-2012).  Abby was a fellow at Manchester Business School in the United Kingdom during her last year in school, studying Global Finance and Operations.

Abby’s greatest accomplishment was the time she served in the Army, enlisting in 2001 and attending the United States Military Academy for a degree in Systems Engineering (Class of 2005).  As an Ordnance officer, Abby managed multiple large-scale military operations at the National Training Center, Ft. Irwin, Ca. and she maintains close ties to the military today through her work with various charities.

Bill Cleary

Mr. Bill Cleary is the Founder, Principal, and Chairman of Cleary & Partners. Mr. Cleary has been active in assisting entrepreneurs with business development and overall marketing efforts through Cleary & Partners over several years. Mr. Cleary co-founded CKS Group in 1987, where he spent 11 years popularizing the Web and establishing major brands, including Web brands such as Amazon.com, eBay, Excite, Silicon Graphics, Disney, AdForce, and Yahoo.

Formerly, Mr. Cleary worked at International Solutions from 1985 to 1986, after four successful years at Apple Computer. Mr. Cleary serves as a Member of the Business Advisory Board of Pgp Corporation and NBX Inc., and also serves on the boards of the Montalvo Arts Center and Hillbrook School.

Bill received a M.S. in Secondary Education and a B.S. in Social Science with a concentration in Cultural Anthropology from the State University of New York, College at Buffalo.

Kelly

Kelly Howard

Kelly Howard

Kelly is the Education Program Manager for the Veterans Health Administration’s Office of Patient Centered Care and Cultural Transformation, charged with transforming America’s largest healthcare system to a personalized, proactive approach, driven by the individual needs of the Veteran. She is also a Major in the U.S. Army Reserves.

Kelly was one of the first graduates of Duke Integrative Medicine’s Integrative Health Coaching Certification Program. She is also a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT-500) and has completed over 1,000 hours of yoga teacher training, to include yoga for Veterans with PTSD. She combines her passion for teaching yoga and health coaching as the small business owner of Integrate Into Great, LLC.

She previously served for a decade as an Active Duty Army Officer and deployed twice to Iraq. After spending four years with troops, she became the Operations Officer for Generals David Petraeus and George Casey in Baghdad in 2006-2007, and later the Special Assistant to the Chief of Staff of the Army at the Pentagon, which culminated in a book on the Iraq War (“Strategic Reflections,” NDU Press, 2012). She was awarded the Bronze Star Medal, Meritorious Service Medal, and Combat Action Badge.

Kelly is a distinguished graduate of the United States Military Academy’s Class of 2002. She also has a Master of Arts degree in Human Resources Management from Webster University.

Kelly has been selected as a “Next Generation National Security Leader” by the Center for a New American Security and named a “Top 40 Under 40” Military Officer by CivilianJobs.com. She is a lifetime member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and Disabled American Vets.

As a Veteran who has dealt with PTSD, Kelly is personally and professionally committed to increasing public awareness, reducing the stigma, and empowering others to explore ways they can help heal themselves. She lives in her hometown of Richmond, Virginia.

William May

William May grew up in Townsend, Massachusetts, served in the United States Navy, and retired as Chief of Police in Townsend after a thirty-year career. William recently published the book, “Once Upon a Crisis” chronicling an upclose account of post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) in the emergency services and first responder sector.

In addition, William writes quarterly articles on PTSD for the magazine ‘Law Enforcement Today’. He lives with his wife Jeanne in southern New Hampshire.

Will Reynolds

William B. Reynolds III

William B. Reynolds III is a senior consultant with Deloitte Consulting LLP and is in the midst of a fellowship focusing on innovation in the public sector. An accomplished military small unit combat arms leader, Reynolds is a veteran of the United States Army where he served for 5 years before being near fatally wounded in combat, granting him medical retirement from the military.

After two years of rehabilitation and 23 surgeries at Walter Reed Army Medical Center, Reynolds returned to graduate school to earn his MBA and MPH from the University of Rochester. Reynolds stays very tied into the veteran and service member communities as an advisory board member for OASIS Adaptive Sports and Equicenter, a director and board member for Team Red, White & Blue (Team RWB) and an ambassador for Disabled Sports USA.

Kevin Stacy

Kevin Stacy

Kevin Stacy is the Founder and Executive Director of The Station Foundation. Kevin is a 2001 graduate of the United States Military Academy with a Bachelors of Science degree in Philosophy. His service in the military spans over 11 years. He has been extremely fortunate to serve as an officer, leader, and aviator with the Nation’s most elite and dedicated Warriors, including tactical and operational roles as a Special Operations leader, liaison, and light assault helicopter (MH-6M) pilot in 1/160 Special Operations Aviation Regiment (Airborne). Kevin has spent ten deployments worldwide in direct support of the Global Pursuit of Terrorists. In June, 2012, Kevin transitioned from the military to focus on realizing the full potential of The Station Foundation.

Kevin’s awards and decorations include: The Air Medal (one with Valor); Bronze Star Medal with three oak leaf clusters; Meritorious Service Medal, and the Combat Action Badge. Kevin is also a graduate of SERE-C (HIGH RISK) and Airborne School.

Brittney Gamble

Brittney Gamble

Brittney Gamble serves as the Chief Program Officer for PTSD United. She develops and implements the programs and services that reflect the organization’s mission, goals and priorities. Brittney brings more than seven years of non-profit experience to PTSD United after starting in the non-profit community at the Metro Atlanta Chamber of Commerce.

She currently serves as the Sales and Sponsorship Account Manager for Cal South, the California State Soccer Association, where she is responsible for bringing brands into the Cal South family of sponsors, as well as, overseeing relationships with current partners. Her sponsorship portfolio includes Nike, Sports Authority, Chipotle, Jamba Juice, LA Galaxy, Shutterfly and many others. Prior to Cal South, she handled marketing and sponsorships for North Carolina Amateur Sports, another 501(c)(3) supporting amateur athletes and the Olympic movement.

Brittney studied Political Science and Spanish at Clemson University. She was a Division I athlete on the Clemson rowing team and a two time CRCA National Scholar Athlete. Brittney is an avid sports fan and currently lives in Southern California where she enjoys planning events and spending time with family.

Dr. Kevin Gamble

Dr. Kevin Gamble

Dr. Kevin Gamble is Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for PTSD United. He retired from North Carolina State University (NCSU) in 2013 after 25 years of service. Prior to retirement he he was the Chief Information Officer and Associate Director for the United States Department of Agriculture’s National eXtension initiative, a consortial distance learning effort of the nation’s 75 Land-Grant Universities. Prior to joining eXtension he was the Director of Information Technologies for the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences at NCSU. Kevin has extensive experience in using Communications and Information Technologies in international development having worked on projects in Ghana, Mali, Malaysia, Yemen, Costa Rica, and Honduras.

Kevin has a keen interest in instructional technologies, and will be instrumental in working with PTSD United in expanding its efforts in real-time educational seminars and new methodologies for community engagement.

Kevin earned his PhD in 1985 from Iowa State University with an emphasis on instructional technologies and research methodologies.  He is an avid snowboarder, and lives with his spouse Mary in Bend, Oregon.
